Marcus created this collection for the 2011 Quilts of Valor program. Since 2003, quilters across America have been making quilts to comfort wounded servicemen in all branches of service, both active duty and retired.

The Marcus collection was designed by Faye Burgos, who honors the servicemen in her own family, just as quilters who will make the quilts pay tribute to all military men and women who have served our country.
